美國藥典-國家處方集（U.S. Pharmacopeia / National Formulary）(USP-NF) 是由美國政府所屬的美國藥典委員會(huì)（The United States Pharmacopeial Convention）編輯出版的關(guān)于藥典標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的公開出版物。它包含關(guān)于藥物、劑型、原料藥、輔料、醫(yī)療器械和食物補(bǔ)充劑的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。美國藥典-國家處方集每年出版一次，目前已經(jīng)出版到第37版（USP37 - NF 32 2013年12月份出版，,2014年5月1日生效）。每一版本的《美國藥典》包含4卷及2個(gè)增補(bǔ)版。美國藥典除了印刷版外，還提供U盤版和互聯(lián)網(wǎng)在線版。

對于在美國制造和銷售的藥物和相關(guān)產(chǎn)品而言，美國藥典是唯一由美國食品藥品監(jiān)督管理局 (FDA) 強(qiáng)制執(zhí)行的法定標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。此外，對于制藥和質(zhì)量控制所必需的規(guī)范，例如測試、程序和合格標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，USP-NF 還可以作為明確的逐步操作指導(dǎo)。USP 標(biāo)準(zhǔn)在全球 130 多個(gè)國家得到認(rèn)可和使用。近 200 年來，這些標(biāo)準(zhǔn)一直在確保全球公眾健康。
